Natural Heritage Wellbeing Coordinator

Salary: £23,660 per annum – 35 hours per week

Intact is looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic person with a ‘Can Do Attitude’ and a ‘Positive Outlook’ on life and a love of nature. Intact has secured a three year grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to deliver an exciting new and innovative project ‘Delivering Digital Dobcroft’.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the post holder will have overall responsibility for delivering the project. The successful candidate will coordinate the delivery of a comprehensive volunteering programme and build partnerships with wildlife specialists, schools and universities to ensure the longer-term sustainability of our Dobcroft Nature Reserve. They will also work closely with Intact’s Digital Inclusion Officer to capture and promote events on the reserve.

The post holder will encourage wide community ownership in an urban environment and will help local people develop their skills, understanding and knowledge of natural heritage and biodiversity. They will ensure Dobcroft, which is an urban wildlife haven for the protection of the Great Crested Newt, will be more accessible, better conserved and safeguarded for future
