Digital Skills and Information Officer – 28 hours per week

Salary: £20,020 pro rata (£11 per hour)

Intact is looking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic person with a ‘Can Do Attitude’ and a ‘Positive Outlook’ on life with a real passion for improving peoples through Digital Skills. Intact has secured three years funding to deliver and develop a range of Digital inclusion activities. Reporting to the Digital Programme Lead, the post holder will be responsible for coordinating and training a team of volunteers to deliver an exceptional digital inclusion service.

Working with a team of Digital Champion volunteers the post holder will advocate the benefits of digital inclusion, run an established Digital service and develop innovative ways to deliver learning to those most digitally excluded. You will be responsible for recruiting, managing and supporting
new and existing Digital Champion Volunteers who will be directly involved in service delivery.

The successful candidate will work with people of all ages from one of the most deprived neighbourhoods in Preston, helping them to become digitally included within society. Beneficiaries will learn new skills, become connected on-line and reduce their social isolation, and access a
host of on-line services relevant to them, in a friendly and fun environment.
